 # Muhammad death event.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                               After the conflict with mecca was finally  settled,Muhammad took his first true islamic pilgrimage to that city and in march 632,he delivered his last sermon at Mount Arafat.                                                         Upon his wife's home,he fell ill for several days.He died on june 8,632, at the age 63,and was buried at al-masjid an-nabawi the mosque of the prophet, one of the first mosques built by Muhammad in Medina.

 Alternative Title:visit miraj Muhammad prophet.                                                                                            Miraj in Islam,the ascension of heaven.In this tradition ,Muhammad is prepared for his meeting with  Allah by the archangels jibril and mikal one evening while he is asleep in the kaaba, the sacred shrine of mecca. They open up his body and purify his heart by removing all traces of error, doubt , idolatry and paganism and by filling it with wisdom and belief.In the earliest interpretations of the miraj the prophet is then transported by jibril directlyto the lowest heaven. But early in islamic history the story of the ascension came to be associated with the story of Muhammad's night journey isra from the "sacred place of worship mecca to the further place of worship "jerusalam.The two separate incidents were gradually combined so that chronologically the purification of Muhammad in his sleep begains the squence.He is then transported in a single night from mecca to jerusalam by the winged mythical creature buraq.From jerusalam, where the dome of the Rock now stands, he is accompained by jibril to heaven,ascending possibly by ladder or staircase,miraj.                                                                                                                 Muhammad and jibril enter the first heaven and proceed through all heaven levels until they reach the throne of God. Along the way they meet the prophets Adam,Yahya, Isa, Yusuf, musa, and ibrahim ,and visit hell and paradise. musa alone of all the inhabitants of heaven  spearks at any length to the visitors, he says that Muhammad is more highly regarded y God than himself and that Muhammad 's following outnumbers his own.Once Muhammad appears before God there is some question as to  whether he actully saw him  , he is told recite the salat" ritual prayer" 50 times each day.musa,however,advises Muhammad  to plead for a reduction of the number as being too difficult for believers,and the obligation is eventually reduced to five preyers each day.                                                 Muhammad 's miraj has been a constant source of speculation among Muslims.Some state that the ascension was merely a dream, others speculate that only Muhammad's soul entered heaven,while his body remained on earth.Parallels have been drawn between the miraj and the manner in which a dead man's soul will progress to judgment at God's throne ,the sufis muslim mystics , claim it describes the soul's leap into mystic knowledge .Popularly the ascension is celebrated with  readings of the legend on the 27th day of Rajab ,called Laylat al-miraj,"night of the ascension".

# In his early teens,muhammad worked in camel caravan,following in the footsteps of many people his age,born of meager wealth.Working for his uncle,he gained expeerince in commercial trade traveling to syria and eventually from the mediterranean sea to the indian Ocean. In time ,muhammad earned a reputation as honest and sincere, acquiring the nickname" al-amin" meaning faithful or trustworthy.            In his early muhammad 20s, muhammad began working for a wealthy rich woman named Khadijah 15 years his senior. She soon became attracted to this young,accomplished man and propased marriage.He accepted and over the years the happy union brought several children.Not all lived to adulthood,but one, Fatima,would marry muhammad's cousin,ali ibn abu talib, whom shi muslim regard as muhammad's successor.                                                                                                                              # The Prophet Muhammad                                                                                                                                Muhammad was also very religious,occasionlly taking journey of devotion to sacred sites near mecca.On one of his pilgrimage  in 610 ,he was meditating in a cave on mount jabal al-nour. The angel Gabriel appeared and relayed the word of God.Recite in the name of your lord who creates,creates man from a clot Recite for your lord is most generous ..."These words became the opening verses of surah 96 of the holy quran.Most Islamic historians believe Muhammad was initially distrubed by revelations and that he didn't reveal them publicly for several years.However, shi"a tradition states he welcomed the message from the angel gabriel and was deeply inspired to share his experience with other potential believers.                                                                                                                                                Islamic tradition holds that the first persons to believe were his wife, khadija and his close friend abu baker.soon ,muhammad began to gather a small following initially encountering on opposition .Most people in mecca either ignored him or mocked him as just another prophet.However,when his message condemned idol worship and polytheism,many of mecca's tribal leaders began to see Muhammad and his message as a threat.Besides going against long standing beliefs, the condemnation of idol worship had economic consequences for merchants who catered to the thousand of pilgrims who came to mecca every year.This was especially true for member of Muhammad's own tribe ,the qurayah, who were the guardians of the kaaba .Sensing a threat, mecca merchants and leaders offered Muhammad incentives to abandon his preaching, but he refused.                                                                                                             Increasingly, the resistance to Muhammad and his followers grew and they were eventually forced to emigrate from mecca to medina ,a city 260 miles to the north in 622.This event marks the beginning of the muslim calendar.These Muhammad was instrumental in bringing an end to a civil war raging amongst several of the city's tribe .Muhammad settled in medina, building his Muslim community and gradually gathering acceptance and more followers.                                                                                        Between 624 and 628, the Muslim were involved in a series of battles their survival.In the final major confrontation, the battle of the Trench and siege of Medina, Muhammad and his followers prevailed and a treaty wa singed. The treaty was broken by meccan allies a year later.By now, Muhammad had plenty of force and the balance of power had shifted away from the meccan leaders to him.In 630, the Muslim army marched into mecca, taking the city with minimum casualties.  Who Was Muhammad.                                                                                                                                        ⁕⁕ Muhammad was the prophet and founder of islam and established muslim.most of the early life was spent as a rich man and merchant.at age 40, he began to have revelations and nobuat from allah that became basis for the quran and foundation of islam.by 630 he had unified most of middel east country by arabia under a singel religion.The world of are over 1.8 million muslim in the world who profess,there is no god but allah,and muhammad is his prophet."                                                              The Life Of Muhammad                                                                                                                                    Muhammad was born around 570,AD in mecca.His father died before he was born and  he was raised first by his grandfather and then uncle.he belonged to a poor but respectable family of the quraysh nation.The family was active mecca politics and trade.                                                                                    Many of the nation living in the arabian peninsula at time were nomadic,trading goodg as they desert source.Most of the tribe were polytheistic, worshipping their own set of gods.                                                The Town Of Mecca was an important center ,home to many temples and prayed to the idols  of these gods.                                                                                                                                                     The most famous place  was the kaaba, meaning of  cube in arabic.it is belived to have been built by ibrahim  and his son Ismail,create the eid al adha.gradully people moved mecca  polytheism and idolaty.it is believed that allah was considered the greatest and the only one without an idol.                    wait for next post.
